Austin Lesbian/Gay Political Caucus

The mission of the Austin Lesbian/Gay Political Caucus shall be to unite and organize Austin area lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgendered citizens and our friends and supporters in political action against all forms of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender expression.

ALGPC shall also work in coalition to combat other forms of discrimination, including but not limited to gender, race or ethnicity, age, religion, disability or economic condition.

Equality Texas

Equality Texas is a statewide political advocacy organization working to advance the cause of equality for all Texans.

The Equality Texas Foundation conducts research and educates Texans about issues of equality, and helps to coordinate efforts of LGBT and allied organizations across the state.

The Texas Equity PAC political action committee works to elect pro-equality state legislators.

HRC Austin

The Austin Steering Committee of the Human Rights Campaign is a diverse volunteer group of individuals working each and every day to bring the mission of HRC to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender and straight-supportive people in this area. By taking part in community events, prides, town hall meetings and partnerships with other organizations, these volunteers are working hard to support HRC’s efforts in the movement for equal rights for LGBT people. And this struggle for equality needs your help!

Stonewall Democrats of Austin

Sensitize and educate Democratic candidates and officeholders and the Democratic Party to the issues and concerns of the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender (GLBT) community.

Promote the Democratic Party's message of economic justice and social equality in the GLBT community.

Encourage GLBT participation in the campaigns of Democratic candidates and participation at all levels of the Democratic Party.

Elect Democratic candidates to public office by maximizing the Democratic turnout in the GLBT community.
